Create a one-of-a-kind Mosaic Floral with Sharra!
In this class, we will walk through the steps of making a customized Mosaic Floral, designed with your preferred textures, patterns and colors made available through a variety of supplies provided in class, specifically for this project.
First, select a custom made (and painted, if you'd like) 4"x4" frame of your choice from three different frame designs: a simple square, a scalloped edged square or an ornate square (as pictured).
We will start the mosaic by building our backgrounds from a wide variety of pre-cut glass, special ordered to size, for this step. Choose from a variety of different shapes and colors.
Next, select from the collection of Sharra's premade glass cutout vases in various shapes and bond them to a decorative paper of your choice (also provided in many beautiful colors and patterns).
From there we will construct the floral portion of the bouquet with an exciting variety of (new, special to this class only!) mosaic materials.
Sharra will demonstrate several floral cutting techniques, providing a range of options and ideas.
Special ordered glass and bead materials will be provided specifically for this class.
Students will leave with a completed Mini Mosaic Floral, ready to gift or display!
All supplies included: custom 4"x4" wood birch frame, 3 different adhesives, grout, mosaic materials, sealant and a PDF of recommended materials and resources.
