Create Your Own Mosaic Floral Masterpiece
Join artist Sharra Frank in her Minneapolis studio for a special hands-on workshop where you’ll design and complete a mini Mosaic Floral—a unique artwork bursting with color, pattern, and texture.
Here’s what you’ll experience:
Before Class, Choose Your Frame: Select a handcrafted 4”x4” birch frame shape and paint color if desired (simple square, scalloped edge, or ornate design)
In class, Design Your Background: Build a mosaic base from a curated selection of pre-cut glass—sized and shaped especially for this class—available in a variety of colors and patterns.
Add a Vase: Select from Sharra’s collection of premade glass vase cutouts and bond them to decorative papers in beautiful designs and shades.
Create Your Bouquet: Construct the floral portion with an exclusive set of mosaic materials (special glass, vintage beads and findings sourced personally by Sharra from speciality suppliers in New York and Rhode Island, and other handmade accents ordered just for this class). Sharra will demonstrate floral cutting techniques and share creative approaches to arranging your blossoms.
By the end of class, you’ll leave with a finished Mosaic Floral artwork, perfect for gifting or displaying at home!
